Some funders permit fringe benefits to be included in the budget portion of grant applications; however, others may specify in their proposal guidelines that fringe benefit costs are not allowable. Be sure to carefully check the organization’s application materials for specific guidance.
At Williams, fringe benefits are calculated as a percentage of the salaries and wages requested. The following table lists the current rates by job classification:
