Webinar: "NSF CAREER: Advice from Winners at Liberal Arts Colleges" June 3, 2020

The webinar, “NSF CAREER: Advice from Winners at Liberal Arts Colleges,” will be held via Zoom on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, from 1:30pm-3:00pm Eastern. Three CAREER awardees from liberal arts colleges (Rebecca Barnes, Associate Professor of Environmental Science at Colorado College; Jack Bateman, Samuel S. Butcher Associate Professor in the Natural Sciences at Bowdoin College; and Luke Dosiek, Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Union College) will provide a panel discussion of their research projects and how they approached the grant competition. The webinar is structured to help faculty members at liberal arts colleges get advice on the CAREER program that’s tailored to the kind of research, teaching, and student interactions that happen on liberal arts campuses. There will also be opportunities for attendees to connect with fellow faculty at different institutions after the webinar.

The webinar will be held free-of-charge. The deadline for registration is June 1, 2020, by 6:00pm Eastern. Please contact Bridget Wiffin in the Grants Office with any questions.
